About My Clients

I specialize in psychological testing and behavioral treatment for teens and adults. I utilize evidence-based treatments supported by current research. I take a client-centered approach, which allows me to integrate various therapeutic interventions based on the needs of my clients. I believe in practical application in which the client can leave with useful tools and strategies to implement in their day-to-day life. I provide a safe, collaborative, non-judgmental environment for my clients to express themselves and feel understood.

My Background and Approach

I am licensed to practice psychology in Oregon and Washington (OR 2855, WA PY61106051). I offer consultation, psychotherapy and psychological testing for children, teens, and adults. I earned my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in Southern California, accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). I completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Institute of Multicultural Counseling and Education Services in Los Angeles, focusing on children’s mental health and completed my post-doctoral residency in neuropsychology and addiction treatment. I specialize in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) to treat depression and other mood disorders, trauma-focused (TF-CBT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety related disorders, including Social Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobia, and Panic Disorder.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a daughter of Filipino immigrant parents, I am culturally sensitive and I enjoy working with Persons of Color and the LGBTQIA+ communities. I have also served on the diversity committee with the Oregon Psychological Association. I am passionate about fostering awareness and knowledge about diversity, multicultural competence, and psychological practice.
